The Spanish High-Frequency Words Assessments help measure a student's ability to recognize and read
high-frequency words, or sight words. Assessments that target Spanish high-frequency words are available
in printable and projectable formats.
Since high-frequency, or sight, words are essential to fluent reading, and since many are not
decodable, repeated exposure and memorization are crucial for students to be able to read
quickly and fluently.
Recorded assessments provide a way for you to listen to students reading aloud at a time that
is convenient for you. Scoring the assessment with our easy-to-use tool helps you to determine
which high-frequency words require the focus of your instruction.

provide additional practice before reassessing with the Flashcards.

and submit the recording to your
